PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent for detecting prostate cancer, a method for determining prostate cancer and a liposome carrier having a target directivity to prostate cancer.SOLUTION: An effect has been found in which Bauhinia purpurea lectin (BPA) and Maclura pomifera lectin (MPA) bind to sugar chains on the surfaces of cancer cells. By utilizing such an effect, the reagent for detecting prostate cancer and the method for determining prostate cancer have been completed.
