The present invention relates to a device for applying a composition for a topical treatment of an epidermal tissue, comprising a connection cap which is arranged to make the device liquid-tight. In a further aspect, the present invention relates to a use of this device for the topical treatment of (biotin-dependent) nail dystrophy and onychoschizia, onychomycosis, onychophagy or nail biting, thumb sucking, acne, rozacea, age or pigmentation spots, vitiligo or psoriasis. In a last aspect, the present invention relates to a composition suitable for use in the above-mentioned device.De huidige uitvinding betreft een inrichting voor het aanbrengen van een samenstelling voor een topicale behandeling van een epidermaal weefsel, omvattende een aansluitdop die is ingericht om de inrichting vloeistofdicht te maken. In een verder aspect heeft onderhavige uitvinding betrekking op een gebruik van deze inrichting voor de topicale behandeling van (biotine-afhankelijke) nageldystrofie en onychoschizie, onychomycose, onychofagie of nagelbijten, duimzuigen, acne, rozacea, ouderdoms - of pigmentvlekken, vitiligo of psoriasis. In een laaste aspect heeft onderhavige uitvinding betrekking op een samenstelling geschikt voor gebruik in boven vermelde inrichting.
