PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation source intensity measuring device for efficiently measuring an intensity of a radiation source to be inserted into an affected area, and a radiation source intensity measuring method thereof, and to provide a device and method for measuring the radiation source intensity capable of detecting mix-up in radiation sources.SOLUTION: The radiation source intensity measuring device for measuring an intensity of a radiation source includes a computer 33 having a storage unit that stores a measurement parameter for each position to be inserted with a minute radiation source of a minute radiation source inserting device 1 and a radiation sensor 31 for measuring the intensity of radiation from the minute radiation source which is moving in a guide needle 21 of the minute radiation source inserting device 1.
