A reagent supply connector system for hemodialysis apparatuses is provided.Thesystem comprises: a water supply line coupled to and for providing water to abicarbonatesupply container； a bicarbonate supply line coupled to and for providing abicarbonatesolution from the bicarbonate supply container to the apparatus for producingdialysatesolution； and an acid supply line to provide acid solution to the apparatusfor producing thedialysate solution. The system further comprises an E-prong connectorcomprising threeparallel prongs including two outer prongs in a common plane, and a centerprong above thecommon plane: the first prong connected to the bicarbonate supply line； thesecond prongconnected to the acid supply line； and the third prong connected to the watersupply line. Thethree prongs allow connection to corresponding receiving holes of a connectionpoint of theapparatus in a single orientation preventing improper connection.
