PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to improve operability of a catheter in accordance with a higher level of a skill of the catheter.SOLUTION: An inner tube member which constitutes a tubular member of the catheter comprises a member 4a1 which has relatively high flexibility and is disposed on the distal end side and a member 4a2 which has relatively low flexibility and is disposed on the proximal end side. A restraint member 100 as an intermediate member is provided between the proximal end of the member 4a1 and the distal end of the member 4a2. The restraint member 100 is provided with a hollow portion 102 which extends along the catheter in the axial direction, corresponds to a first lumen 20 provided in the inner tube member 4a, and has an inner diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the first lumen 20. A movement stop part 110 is provided on an operation wire 40 which is inserted through the hollow portion 102 at a prescribed place located beyond the restraint member 100 toward the distal end side.
