PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions which are safe enough to be ingested daily and have the promoting action of the secretion of s-IgA in saliva continuously and independently of subject age.SOLUTION: The above subject can be solved by a secretory IgA secretion-promoting composition which contains as an active ingredient fucoidan derived from Cladosiphon okamuranus Tokida whose daily intake amount is 1000 mg or more. These compositions exert mucosal immunity activation effect, anti-infection effect, and antiallergic effect and are expected to be useful for improving, alleviating, suppressing, treating, or preventing diseases, for examples, bacterial infection, viral infectious disease, protozoa sexually transmitted infection, food allergy, pollinosis, gastritis, enteritis, diarrhea, ulcerative colitis, rhinitis, bronchitis, bronchial asthma, Loffler syndrome, and stomatitis and the like, as well as symptoms caused by these diseases, or immunotherapies and immunological tolerance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】本発明の目的は、日常的に摂取可能である程度の安全性があり、かつ、連続的かつ被験者年齢に非依存的に唾液中のｓ－ＩｇＡの分泌を促進する作用を有する組成物を提供することにある。【解決手段】上記目的は、１日摂取量が１，０００ｍｇ以上であるオキナワモズク由来フコイダンを有効成分として含有する、分泌型ＩｇＡ分泌促進用組成物により解決される。これらの組成物によれば、粘膜免疫賦活効果、抗感染症効果及び抗アレルギー効果を奏し、これらの効果が期待される疾患や症状、例えば、細菌性感染症、ウイルス性感染症、原虫性感染症、食物アレルギー、花粉症、胃炎、腸炎、下痢、潰瘍性大腸炎、鼻炎、気管支炎、気管支喘息、レフレル症候群、口内炎などやこれらによる症状を改善、緩和、抑制、治療若しくは予防すること、又は免疫療法や免疫寛容の用に供することが期待できる。【選択図】図１
