Provided is an EMG monitoring system configured to build a database and an EMG measurement method using the same.본 발명은 근전도(electromyogram ； EMG)를 측정하기 위한 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따르면, 근전도 센서와 측정장치가 유선으로 연결되도록 구성됨으로 인해 사용에 불편함이 있고, 무선측정이 가능한 측정장치의 경우는 매우 고가인 단점이 있으며, 근전도 데이터의 측정시 시간이 오래 걸리고 다수의 피실험자에 대하여 대량의 데이터를 수집하기 어려운 문제가 있었던 종래기술의 근전도 측정장치 및 방법들의 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 예를 들면, 스마트폰이나 태블릿 PC 등과 같은 개인 휴대용 정보통신 단말기에 전용의 어플리케이션 프로그램을 설치하여 무선으로 측정이 이루어지도록 구성됨으로써 근전도의 측정이 보다 용이하고 효율적으로 이루어질 수 있는 동시에, 예를 들면, 피트니스 센터에 설치된 운동기구에 NFC 태그를 부착하여 운동기구별로 근전도 데이터를 수집하도록 구성됨으로써 다수의 피실험자에 대하여도 근전도 데이터를 보다 신속하고 용이하게 측정 가능하여 각각의 사용자별 및 운동별로 근육 활성에 관한 데이터베이스를 구축할 수 있도록 구성되는 근전도 모니터링 시스템 및 이를 이용한 근전도 측정방법이 제공된다.
