PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a balloon for a catheter in a treatment for an aortic angusta of a lime deposition property or for an aortic angusta of rheumatic and congenital properties, as can control the extended external diameter of an extensible external diameter easily and can prevent the migration of the balloon effectively, and can fix the balloon easily at a predetermined position.SOLUTION: A catheter comprises: a balloon 20 including a shoulder portion 23 formed of a non-extendible material or made to have a low extensibility, and an extensible waist portion 30； and a catheter body 70, to which the balloon 20 is attached.【課題】石灰沈着性の大動脈狭窄、リウマチ性及び先天性の大動脈狭窄等の治療において、伸長性バルーンの拡張外径をコントロールし易く、かつバルーンの遊走を効果的に防止でき、所定の位置に容易に固定可能なカテーテル用バルーンを提供する。【解決手段】非伸張性素材又は低伸張性に形成されたショルダー部２３及び伸張性を有するウエスト部３０を備えているバルーン２０と、このバルーン２０が取り付けられるカテーテル本体７０とを備えている。【選択図】図１
