A cartridge for holding surgical fasteners (20), which includes: a base (12) having a plurality of vertical walls (16), with pairs of adjacent walls (16) defining spaces (18) for fastening fasteners surgical (20); at least one fixing element of the surgical fasteners (14) configured to be arranged in a closed position with respect to the base (12), in which the fastening devices (20) in the spaces (18) are covered and retained in said spaces (18); wherein the fixing element of the surgical fastening devices (14) has a side wall portion (28) connected to the base (12) and a flexible retention element (32) extending from the side wall portion (28) on at least a part of one of the spaces (18) when the fastener of the surgical fasteners (14) is in the closed position, whereby the fasteners (20) can be retained in the spaces (18) and then removed when desired while the clamping element of the surgical clamping devices (14) is in the closed position, while the clamping element of the surgical clamping devices (14) is in the closed position the portion side wall (28) is arranged perpendicularly to the base (12), the flexible retaining elements (32) are positioned inclined downwardly within the spaces (18) between the walls (16) and they are configured to come into contact with the ends (24) of the surgical fasteners (20), in which case the flexible retention element (32) defines an acute angle (A) with the side wall portion (28), characterized in that at least one fixing element of the surgical fastening devices is movably connected to the base and is movable with respect to the base from an open position, in which the fastening devices can be loaded into the spaces at a closed position; and by an interlocking locking structure between the base and the fastener of the surgical fasteners to lock the fastener of the surgical fasteners in the closed position, in which the side wall portion (28) is connected to the base (12) by means of a flexible hinge (30), which defines a r
