A first connector 120 has at least one ridge formed on an inside surface of the connector, a first aperture 155 to receive a connecting adapter 140, and a second aperture to receive a conduit such as oxygen delivery tubes 110 leading to a nasal cannula. The connector may also (or instead) have a locking groove formed around the circumference of an interior surface. The connecting adapter is to couple the connector with a second connector 125 which could be attached to an oxygen supply hose. The connecting adapter has an annular locking channel 160 bounded by a collar. The ridge or ridges on the interior surface of the first connector are configured to engage and lock with the locking channel, and the locking groove locks onto the collar. The connecting adapter may also have locking fingers 153 with locking recesses 154 which engage with locking tabs on the interior of the second connector. There may be alignment tabs on the interior surface of the second connector to guide the locking fingers to the locking tabs.
