PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for leading tree roots constructed at such a place around a parking space, a pavement, a street, a building or the like where it is hard to preferably grow the roots in artificially planting trees because a space for soil at an underground part is limited and a hard base exists at the periphery of the soil as an alternative to the hard base, wherein the trees are planted without inhibiting the growth of the roots at the underground part even when constructed at the place where the base at the underground part is hard and the space for the soil part around the base is extremely limited.SOLUTION: The base material for leading tree roots comprises many coarse-grained materials, many fine-grained materials each having a smaller diameter than that of the coarse-grained material, and holding materials holding the fine-grained materials in engaging void parts among the many coarse-grained materials.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】 駐車場、歩道や街路、建物回り等、地下部における土壌のスペースが制限されているとともに、その土壌部分の周辺に硬い地盤が存在するために、樹木を人為的に植設する上で根を好適に成長させにくいような場所に、その硬い地盤の代用として施工される樹木の根の誘導用基盤材に関し、そのような場所に樹木を人為的に植設する上で、地下部分の地盤が硬く、その周辺の土壌部分のスペースが著しく制限されるような場所で施工されても、その地下部において根の成長が阻害されることなく樹木を植設することのできる樹木の根の誘導用基盤材を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】 多数の粗粒材と、該粗粒材より粒径の小さい多数の細粒材と、該細粒材を前記多数の粗粒材間のかみ合わせ空隙部内に保持させるための保持材とからなることを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1
