1. A device for introducing an intraocular lens (IOL), comprising: an injection cartridge having a body portion and a tip, the body portion and the tip comprising an inner surface limiting a lumen extending along the body portion and the tip, at least an inner surface obtained from a polymeric material, which is either a polyurethane material or a non-olefin polymer material having a heterogeneous main chain; and a coating located on the inner surface, the coating being formed from a polyurethane material and a hydrophilic material. 2. The device according to claim 1, in which the coating consists essentially of only a polyurethane material and a hydrophilic material. The device according to claim 1, in which the hydrophilic material contains polyvinylpyrrolidone. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, in which the polyurethane coating material forms a crosslinked or linear matrix, and the hydrophilic material is dispersed throughout the matrix. The device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, in which the coating is a single layer located directly on the inner surface of the cartridge, without any other coating layers on a single layer. The device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, in which the coating is located directly on the inner surface, without any primer coating layer between the coating and the inner surface. The device according to claim 6, in which the cartridge and the inner surface are formed of a single polymer material.
