PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental filler having improved abrasion resistance as well as relatively good polymerization shrinkage and high strength, optionally opaque to radiation and sufficiently transparent to light.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a dental compound containing a hybrid filler and a method for producing the compound. A new dental compound containing two or more layers of inorganic filler in an organic polymer matrix can be produced by this process. The product has improved abrasion resistance.
