This invention provides the production of algal paste for aquaculture feeds using Tetraselmis sp., Nannochloropsis, and Chaetoceros sp. are cultured. The method includes the steps of culturing of microalgae; harvesting of the culture; flocculating the culture; passing the flocculated culture through a concentrator; and collecting and harvesting the paste. The resulting algal paste is characterized by high algal cell density, 98 pcnt cell viability and it contains essential amino acids and fatty acids for growth of organisms. The algal paste is viable and therefore can be re-cultured to start another culture cycle.
