PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustable cervical collar in which right and left sides can be adjusted with a single motion with a rack and pinion adjustment mechanism.SOLUTION: A first rack 130 and a second rack 140 move second chin support members 135 and 145 which raise and lower a chin piece 150. Furthermore, mechanisms are provided in which a chin support can angulate independently of a collar body 110. Such angulation is preferably accomplish by pivotally supporting the chin piece on the racks, or on the right and left chin support pieces.
