PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable unit provided with equipment necessary for a dental hygienist to care the oral cavity of a patient when visiting a home or sickroom of the patient, wherein, specifically, the necessary minimum equipment for caring the oral cavity can be efficiently accommodated in a unit body to reduce the weight, and the equipment can be easily assembled on site and can be easily returned to the original accommodated state after the operation.SOLUTION: A portable unit includes a scaler hose 20, a vacuum hose 30, and a unit body 1 to which the hoses are detachably attached. The unit body 1 has a scaler drive system and a vacuum drive system integrally, and has housing sections 2, 3 for accommodating the hoses 20, 30 individually on the outer surface, and an instrument holder 60 for holding the hoses by suspending on the upper part of the housing sections.
