Herein is reported a method for producing a lipid particle comprising the following steps i) providing a first solution comprising denatured apolipoprotein, ii) adding the first solution to a second solution comprising at least two lipids and a detergent but no apolipoprotein, and iii) removing the detergent from the solution obtained in step ii) and thereby producing a lipid particle.本明細書において、以下の工程を含む脂質粒子を産生するための方法を報告する：ｉ）変性アポリポタンパク質を含む第１溶液を提供すること、ｉｉ）第１溶液を、少なくとも２つの脂質及び界面活性剤を含むが、しかし、アポリポタンパク質を含まない第２溶液に加えること、及びｉｉｉ）工程ｉｉ）において得られた溶液から界面活性剤を除去し、それにより、脂質粒子を産生すること。
