PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter in which the maintenance of a planting tool for planting a transplanted object is further facilitated.SOLUTION: A transplanter includes a transplanted object dropping mechanism 27, 56-56d, 51, 52, 53, 54, and 55-55d dropping and supplying a transplanted object stored in a container to the planting tool moved upward by a vertically moving mechanism 21, when the container 22 is moved to a drop supply positions 31a-31d located above a corresponding planting tools 20a-20d by a moving mechanism 23. A plurality of containers 22 disposed in a loop manner are divided into a plurality of sections 25, the number of containers belonging to each section is the same as the number of planting tools, and the containers belonging to each section are assigned to mutually different planting tools. The respective containers in each section assigned to the same planting tool are aligned in the same sequence within each section.
