According to the present invention, disclosed are a chair for correcting a posture and a control method thereof. The chair for correcting a posture comprises: a plurality of posture sensing units installed in a position in which the posture sensing units come in contact with a body of a seated person to measure pressure； a plurality of lamp display units configured to turn on a lamp to correspond to a position in which pressure of the plurality of posture sensing units is not measured； a control unit configured to analyze the posture of the seated person based on a pressure sensing value of the plurality of posture sensing units and a lighting state of the lamp of the plurality of lamp display units； and an output unit configured to output information on the posture of the seated person, wherein the posture is analyzed by the control unit.본 발명은 자세 교정 의자 및 그 제어 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 자세 교정 의자 및 그 제어 방법은, 착석자의 신체와 맞닿는 위치에 설치되어 압력을 측정하는 복수 개의 자세감지부； 복수 개의 자세감지부 중 압력이 측정되지 않는 위치와 대응되도록 램프를 점등하는 복수 개의 램프표시부； 복수 개의 자세감지부의 압력 감지 값 및 복수 개의 램프표시부의 램프 점등 상태에 기초하여 착석자의 자세를 분석하는 제어부； 및 제어부에서 분석한 착석자의 자세 정보를 출력하는 출력부；를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
