The present invention relates to a floating body for a water landscaping structure which forms a base for a water landscaping structure floating on water at the river, lake parks, or the like while supporting non-woven fabric and bed soil constituting the planting base of various plants of the water landscaping structure in the state of containing a buoyancy force therein, thus retaining an appropriate amount of water therein to allow the absorption and drainage of water to be gently achieved and further causing no loss of the buoyancy force even if cut to a desired shape to allow the water landscaping structure to be variously made in shape. The floating body includes a plurality of buoyancy chambers spaced apart from each other by a given distance in such a manner as to be connected unitarily to each other by means of plate-shaped connection ribs, each plate-shaped connection rib being formed at an about intermediate height of each buoyancy chamber to form a lattice-shaped valley between the neighboring buoyancy chambers； connection loops formed on four corners of the floating body； and anti-slip protrusions formed in a given pattern on the top and underside of each buoyancy chamber to prevent slip of non-woven fabric when the non-woven fabric is placed on the top and underside of each buoyancy chamber.본 발명은 하천이나 호수공원 등의 수면에 떠있는 수상 조경물을 위한 베이스를 이루면서 부력을 보유한 상태에서 조경물을 구성하는 각종 식물의 식생 기반을 이루는 부직포 및 상토를 지지하되 적정한 수분의 보유가 가능하도록 물의 흡수 및 배수가 원활히 이루어질 수 있으며, 원하는 형태로 절단을 하더라도 자체의 부력 손실이 없도록 하여 수상 조경물의 형태를 다양하게 제작할 수 있도록 한 것인바, 독립된 복수 개의 부력 챔버가 소정 간격 이격되되 각각의 부력 챔버는 판상의 연결 리브에 의해 일체를 이루며, 상기 부력체 외곽의 네 모서리에는 연결고리가 형성되고, 판상의 연결 리브는 각 부력 챔버의 대략 중간 높이에 형성되어 인접하는 부력 챔버 사이에 격자 형태의 골이 형성되며, 상기 각 부력 챔버의 상,하면에는 부직포가 얹혀질 때 미끄럼 방지를 위한 미끄럼 방지돌기가 소정의 패턴으로 형성되어 있다.
