Pymetrozine, profenofos, a benzoylurea derivative or a carbamate derivative are used to control pests in transgenic plant crops. Controlling pests in crops of transgenic useful plants comprises applying, to the pests or their environment, a composition comprising: (a) an active agent which is pymetrozine, profenofos, a benzoylurea derivative or a carbamate derivative, in free or salt form; and (b) at least one auxiliary.
