To reduction a load ON a user and also shorten an inspection time when performing each process constituting a routine inspection in an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus.
SOLUTION: It is determined whether a process is the automatic optimizing process or not in S103. When the process is the automatic optimizing process and the automatic optimizing process is performed in S104. In the opposite case and MANUAL setting reception processing is performed in S105. In the automatic optimizing process S104, the values of noted parameters are experimentally changed, while allowing a plurality of parameters to be the noted parameters respectively, and, then and a correlation value is calculated between a current image and a reference image through the change to thereby optimize the values of the noted parameters. Automatic freezing processing is performed at the stage of completion in optimizing or manual-setting concerning the whole parameters. Thus and a still image or an animation is preserved.
