PURPOSE: A contrast composition using higher concentration iodine is provided to enhance contrast effect and to obtain an image with excellent definition and identification. CONSTITUTION: A contrast composition contains 360-450 mgI/ml of an aqueous contrast agent selected from the group consisting of iopentol, iotrolan, iohexol, ioversol, ioxilan, iodixanol, and iobitridol. The aqueous contrast agent is iohexol. The concentration of the aqueous contrast is 380-420 mgI/ml. The contrast composition further contains an aqueous buffer solution, a sterilized injection solution, a chelating agent, and a pH adjusting agent.
