PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig by which a cutting direction of a femur end part can be determined without inserting a rod into the femur medullary cavity in the artificial joint setting operation.SOLUTION: The jig for an artificial knee joint setting operation (1) includes: an attachment base (2) holdable on a groove (F2) formed on a patellar surface and/or intercondylar fossa (F1) of the femur (F) a rotary holder (4) rotatably attached on the attachment base (2) centering on the rotation axis line (X) a bone head indication part (6) held by the rotary holder (4) and an abutment guide (8). The bone head indication part (6) can be positioned so as to be extended on the femur head (Fh) by rotaion of the rotary holder (4). The abutment guide (8) includes a guide hole (8f) to guide a drill for boring a drill hole in the front part of the femur distal end part (e) at a position of the rotary holder (4) when positioned in such manner.
