PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress sudden noise caused by application of a gradient magnetic field at the start of measurement and to reduce burdens on a subject in an MRI apparatus.
SOLUTION: The RF pulse 201 is not applied before conventional blind firing 207 at the start of measurement, but a period 210 for the blind firing in which the pulse is applied while at least one of the gradient magnetic field strengths 202, 203, and 204 is linearly or quadratically increased one after another is added.
