CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a main body(10) including a storage chamber where food is stored； a cooling apparatus(18) for supplying cool air to the storage chamber； an input unit(15) which receives the state information of the food； a determining unit(27) which determines the storage conditions of the food according to the received state information of the food； a control unit(16) prepared in the main body to control the operation of the cooling apparatus according to the storage conditions determined through the determining unit； an indication device measuring unit(31) which measures the state information of the food； and an indication device(30) including the indication device measuring unit displaying the measured state information of the food. The state information of the food includes at least one of salinity, acidity, temperature, and a number of bacteria included in the food. The indication device measuring unit includes at least one of a salinity measuring unit, an acidity measuring unit, a temperature measuring unit, and a bacterial number measuring unit to measure the state information of the food. The determining unit includes a memory unit where the storage condition of the food according to the state information of the food is stored in advance. The refrigerator further includes a storing unit which is prepared in the main body to store the indication device. The input unit may receive the state information of the food from the indication device by wire or wireless telecommunication.
