A medical cabinet for storage of flexible scopes comprises a housing having aninlet to allowair to pass into housing and an outlet to allow air to pass out of thehousing, a pump to pumpair into the housing via the inlet, a vacuum to suck air from the housingthrough the outlet anoutlet connector connected to the outlet and also connectable to a port of atleast one of thescopes. Also provided is a housing for use as part of the medical container. Aseparatepower unit is also provided comprising a pump to pump air into the housing viaan inlet anda vacuum to suck air from the housing through an outlet. A method of storing aflexible scopeincludes pumping air on to the flexible scope located in a housing and suckingair throughthe flexible scope located in the housing.
