PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing an expression vector in a good efficiency by shortening a gene region encoding a gene-silencing inhibitory protein.
SOLUTION: (a) This nucleic acid sequence encoding a water melon green spot mosaic virus 129K protein or the fragment of a nucleic acid sequence encoding a corresponding protein to the above and containing at least a specific sequence, (b) the nucleic acid sequence containing one or several substitutions, additions or deletions to the sequence (a), or (c) a nucleic acid containing a nucleic acid sequence hybridizing with the nucleic acid having the sequence (a) under a stringent condition and encoding a product having a function of inhibiting the gene-silencing on its expression are provided.
