The present invention relates to a high-efficiency pasteurizing cooler, and more particularly, to a pasteurizing cooler for maintaining the quality of food during the preparation and distribution of the food, wherein the pasteurizing cooler pasteurizes the food while preventing the destruction of nutrients or vitamins contained in the food, avoids changes in the physical properties of the food being pasteurized, and reuses the energy being discharged to the atmosphere, thereby pasteurizing the food and preserving the pasteurized food in a cooled condition using less energy in an economically advantageous manner. The high-efficiency pasteurizing cooler of the present invention comprises: a preheating water tank for preheating a product a heating water tank for heating and sterilizing the product preheated in the preheating water tank a cooling water tank for cooling the product sterilized in the heating water tank and a heat pump which is connected to the cooling water tank and to the preheating water tank via a pipeline so as to cool and circulate the cooling water of the cooling water tank and to preheat and circulate the preheating water of the preheating water tank.
