PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a termite controlling device which increases the efficiency of controlling working, only requires the least possible effort, can quickly be dried when a termite killing agent has absorbed water, and can prevent the intrusion of vermin other than termites.SOLUTION: The termite controlling device is obtained by forming openings 2 for enabling the intrusion of termites at the bottom of a storage container 1, allowing the storage container to hold a blocking member 3 so as to occupy these openings 2, and housing a termite killing agent 4 integrated with a feed material in the storage container, the blocking member 3 being made of a material such as wood in which termites can gnaw a hole. Termites eat or gnaw the blocking membrane 3 off to form a passage and come into the storage container 1 from the openings 2 but big insects cannot pass through the passage, and the intrusion of vermin other than termites can be prevented.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】防除作業の効率を高めて可及的に労力を要せず、殺シロアリ剤が吸水した場合には速やかに乾燥させることができ、かつシロアリ以外の害虫の侵入を阻止できるシロアリ防除装置とすることである。【解決手段】収納容器1の底部にシロアリが侵入可能な開口部2を形成し、この開口部2を塞ぐように封鎖部材3を保持させると共に、餌材と一体にした殺シロアリ剤4を収納し、封鎖部材3はシロアリの穿孔可能な木材などの素材で設けたシロアリ防除装置とする。シロアリは封鎖部材3を食べるか、または齧りとって通路を形成し、開口部2から収納容器1内に侵入するが、通路より体格の大きな虫は通過できず、シロアリ以外の害虫の侵入を阻止できる。【選択図】図1
