Use of a substance having an activity to modulate signal transduction mediated by AILIM for suppressing, treating or preventing graft rejection accompanying the transplantation of liver, heart, or a portion thereof and for enhancing the effect of one or more immunosuppressive agents, such as tacrolimus, on the suppression, treatment, or prevention of graft rejection accompanying the transplantation of liver, heart, or a portion thereof.
