PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charged particle beam therapy apparatus in which the accessibility to an irradiation area is improved.SOLUTION: A charged particle beam therapy apparatus 1 is configured such that a fixing part 33 of a bed 30 is fixed in a position spaced apart from a conventional floor surface 91, namely, to a ceiling 92 of a front room 9B. Thereby, components and the like fixed in the vicinity of an entrance at the front of a rotating gantry 7, specifically at the front of an opening 52 of a radiation shielding wall 51, in particular to a floor surface 91 are decreased, so that accessibility to an irradiation area 7A in the rotating gantry 7 is improved.
