The present invention relates to a mixture for protecting skin and to a cosmetic composition including the same for protecting skin from ultraviolet rays. The mixture for protecting skin, based on the total weight thereof, includes 80-95 wt% of vegetable oil, 1-10 wt% of a UV-blocking component, 1-10 wt% of an emulsifier, 0.1-5 wt% of a skin soothing component, and 0.1-5 wt% of a nucleotide precursor or a derivative thereof, and the cosmetic composition for protecting skin from ultraviolet rays includes 0.1-10 wt% of the mixture for protecting skin. The mixture for protecting skin and cosmetic composition including the same according to the present invention protect skin from ultraviolet rays. More specifically, skin cells and DNA can be protected, the recovery of skin from damage caused by external stress such as ultraviolet rays can be improved, and skin-aging can be prevented.
