PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which reduces a depressed feeling during menstruation or in slight incontinence and camouflages menstrual blood or urine, etc., and also allows an absorbed body fluid to be visually recognized to thereby help a person who manages a body condition with the color of the body fluid and prevents the back-flow of the absorbed body fluid.

SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes an absorbent body 4 which is held between a liquid-permeable front surface sheet 3 and a rear surface sheet 2. The absorbent body 4 has a double-layer structure with a lower layer absorbent body 4A and an upper layer absorbent body 4B, wherein the upper layer absorbent body 4B has a smaller area than the lower layer absorbent body 4A and is arranged in a part corresponding to a body fluid discharge part. A colored and/or designed porous plastic sheet 5 is arranged between the lower layer absorbent body 4A and the upper layer absorbent body 4B and also on the upper surface of the lower layer absorbent body 4A so as to cover the substantially whole surface of the lower layer absorbent body 4A.
