PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for carrying out a reproducible and contamination-free small droplet operation, especially combination, in a micro-channel or a closed micro-fluid system.SOLUTION: A micro fluid device 1 includes a micro-channel 2 and an electrode assembly 3. The micro-channel 2 has a vertical axis X and a circular internal cross section. The electrodes 4 are arranged around the micro-channel 2 and at an interval of a gap 6 along the axis X. The electrodes 4 are connected to a power generation unit 9 by a connection element 8 including an electric wire. A small droplet to be combined enters the gap 6 between the electrodes 4 and moves at a constant speed, and the next small droplet approaches the preceding small droplet through dielectric force to combine with the preceding small droplet.【課題】マイクロチャネルまたは閉じたマイクロ流体系において再現性のある、汚染の無い小滴操作、特に合体を行うデバイスおよび方法を提供する。【解決手段】マイクロ流体デバイス１は、マイクロチャネル２および電極アッセンブリ３を含む。マイクロチャネル２は縦軸Xおよび円形である内部断面を有する。電極４は、マイクロチャネル２の周りに置かれ、軸Xに沿ってギャップ６だけ間隔をあけて置かれる。電極４は、電気ワイヤを含む連結要素８によって発電ユニット９に連結される。合体する小滴は電極４間のギャップ６に入り、一定速度で移動し、次の小滴は前の小滴に誘電力によって近づき合体が達成される。【選択図】図１
