PURPOSE: A composition for bone cement and a preparation method thereof are provided to improve strength characteristics and to maintain the intensity of bones after an operation. CONSTITUTION: A preparation method of a composition for bone cement is characterized by reacting a calcium aqueous solution and a phosphoric acid at pH 4.8-5.5. The reaction is performed under a non-carbon dioxide atmosphere. The non-carbon dioxide atmosphere is a nitrogen atmosphere or a vacuum atmosphere. The reaction is performed at 20-125 deg. C. The composition for bone cement includes beta-tricalcium phosphate particles with 1-50 nm particle diameter and rectangular beta-tricalcium phosphate particles with 20-50 nm breadth and 20-170 nm length.본 발명은 골시멘트용 조성물에 관한 것으로서 1 내지 50 nm 입경의 β-트리칼슘포스페이트 입자 또는 20 내지 50 nm 너비 및 20 내지 170 nm 길이의 장방형 β-트리칼슘포스페이트 입자를 포함하는 것을 일 특징으로 하며, 본 발명에 따르면 강도특성이 현저히 개선된 골 재생특성의 골시멘트를 이용할 수 있고, 이의 제조방법은 간단한 공업적 공정을 포함하여 비용효율적이며 용이한 대량생산화가 가능할 뿐만 아니라, 상기 골시멘트를 포함하는 골 대체재는 우수한 강도특성 및 골 재생특성을 나타낸다.
