The subject of the present invention is a composition for dyeing keratinous fibers, in particular keratinous fibers such as the hair, comprising: a) at least one 3- (2,5-diaminophenyl) propanol-1 oxidation base and or its acid salts or solvates such as hydrates； b) at least one particular coupler, c) optionally at least one fatty substance； d) optionally at least one basifying agent； and e) optionally at least one chemical oxidizing agent. The subject of the invention is also a process for dyeing keratinous fibers such as the hair using the composition of the invention and a multi-compartment device for implementing the composition of the invention.
