In some examples, a blood pressure cuff system 1 may include a blood pressure cuff 3 and a fastener 9. The cuff has attachments 16 for removably attaching a fastener to the cuff. The fastener is arranged to be removably attached to the attachments on the blood pressure cuff and, when attached, for fastening the cuff around a part of a patient. At least one of the fastener and the attachments is arranged to allow the fastener to be removed from the attachments and the attachments are a plurality of press studs. In embodiments, the fastener may be hook and loop or Velcro (RTM).
