PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical volatilization unit which can prevent chemical sucked up by a volatilization body from contaminating an outer wall of a container.SOLUTION: A chemical volatilization unit comprises a container with an opening at its top, a chemical stored in the container and a stick-type volatilization body. The volatilization body is inserted into the container with a portion thereof projecting externaly from the container so that it sucks up and volatilizes then distributes the chemical in the outside air. The container has a rim part surrounding and defining the opening. The rim part consists of a first inner surface facing the opening and a second inner surface also facing the opening. The second inner surface is located more inside than the first inner surface in radial direction of the opening and located lower than the first inner surface.
