The first channel may be configured to receive a first support rod, and the first head may have first internal threads within the first channel. The bone screw device may further include a second head comprising a threaded base configured to be threadably coupled with the first inner threads to secure the first support rod within the first channel of the first screw head, and an articulating head coupled to the threaded base and defining a second channel therein configured to receive a second support rod. The articulating head may be configured for polyaxial movement relative to the threaded base.
