PURPOSE: A roadside tree protection apparatus is provided to supply water to the root of a road side tree and vary an inside diameter of an inner container according to the growth of the road side tree. CONSTITUTION: An inner container (20) surrounds the outside of a road side tree by closely connecting the both sides of a first box of water meter (21) with a semicircle form. An outer container (10) forms a space (S) between the inner container and the outer container by connecting a second box of water meter with hinges and induces rainwater to the space and drops the rainwater. A rainwater guide plate (12) is located at relatively higher position than a mesh network (211), combined with the inner side of the outer container and prolonged to the top of the mesh network. An elastic unit (30) is radially installed at the space between the inner container and outer container. A moisture absorption member (40) absorbs the rainwater and supplies the rainwater to the root of the road side tree over long time. A supporting part (50) is radially combined in the lower part of the external surface of the outer container and laid under the surface. A horizontal rod (51) is radially combined with the outer surface of the second box of water meter. Multiple reinforcing supports (52) are connected with a horizontal rod in order to be connected in lattice form.본 발명은 친환경 빗물 공급이 가능한 가로수 보호장치에 관한 것으로, 이를 위해 내경이 확장되도록 두개로 반분된 반원 상의 제 1보호통(21) 양측이 상호 중첩되도록 밀착 결합되어 가로수의 외측을 감싸는 내통(20)；과, 두개로 반분된 반원 상의 제 2보호통(11)이 상호 간 힌지결합되어 내통(20)과의 사이에 일정간격을 두고 형성되는 공간부(S)를 통해 빗물을 유도하여 낙하시키는 외통(10)；과, 가로수가 성장함에 따라 내통(20)만이 탄력적으로 확장될 수 있도록 상기 내통(20)과 외통(10)의 사이에 방사상으로 연설되는 적어도 2개 이상의 탄성수단；과, 상기 내통(20)과 외통(10)의 사이의 공간부(S)에 충진되어 빗물을 흡수한 후 장시간에 걸쳐 가로수의 뿌리에 물을 공급하는 수분흡수부재(40)； 및 가로수의 직립을 지지하면서 동시에 외통(10)과 내통(20)이 지면으로 침강되는 것을 방지하기 위해 상기 외통(10)의 하부 외주면을 따라 방사상으로 결합되어 지면에 매설되는 지지부(50)；을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
