PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substantially cylindrical body with a micro-thin wall for solving problems in which a cylindrical radiopaque marker mass-produced is fixed to a medical catheter by caulking, however when the cylindrical body is subjected to the caulking, wrinkles are necessarily produced in an outer surface or an inner surface of the cylindrical body, and therefore cavities are made between adjacent coating objects and uniform fixation becomes difficult, and further, when many wrinkles and irregularities due to wearing are present in the inner surface of the cylindrical body material in itself, the instability of the fixing force becomes more remarkable, it might fall off in a blood vessel during procedure to cause problems in safety aspect.SOLUTION: A substantially cylindrical body with a micro-thin wall is characterized as follows: an angle formed by both short ends and both long ends of a sheet metal is not perpendicular; both short ends of the sheet metal are two free ends that are mutually opposed and are not connected and fixed; the shape of each free end repeats deflection of even times of 2 or more in total; the deflection belonging to the same group is a crank shape deflected to the same direction in a group corresponding to the odd-numbered deflection and a group corresponding to the even-numbered deflection; and the crank shape of the mutual free end can be fitted correspondingly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5【課題】 量産される円筒状X線不透過マーカーは医療用カテーテルにかしめ加工によって固着されるが、円筒体にかしめ加工を施すと、必然的に円筒体外面もしくは内面にシワを生じ、隣接する被覆対象との間に空隙ができてしまい、均一な固着が困難となる。さらに、円筒体素材自体の内面に多数のシワや被りによる凹凸がある場合には、その固着力の不安定性はより顕著なものとなり、手技中に血管内で脱落する恐れがあり、安全面で問題がある。【解決手段】 金属薄板の短尺側両端部と長尺側両端部の成す角度が直角でなく、金属薄板の短尺側両端部相互が対向して接続固定されていない2つの自由端であって、各自由端の形状は合計で2以上の偶数回の屈折を繰り返し、奇数番目の屈折に相当する群と、偶数番目の屈折に相当する群において、同じ群に属する屈折は同じ方向へ屈折したクランク形状であり、自由端相互のクランク形状が対応して嵌合可能なことを特徴とする微小薄肉略円筒体。【選択図】 図5
