The present invention provides a thermo- and pH- sensitive star-shaped copolymer and a method for making the same. The star copolymer comprises constituent units (A) as a core of the star-shaped copolymer and constituent units (B) formed by constituent units (B1) derived from N-isopropylacrylamide monomer and constituent units (B2) derived from 4-amino-2-methylene-4-oxobutanoic acid (or called “itaconamic acid” IAM) monomer as arms of the star-shaped copolymer wherein the number of arms of the star-shaped copolymer is 18~21, that is, the star-shaped copolymer has a general formula of ABp (p=18~21) a molar ratio of the constituent units (B1) to (B2) (m/n) is 1:0.05~1:0.4 and the copolymer has a structure of the following general equation (I).本發明提供一種溫度及酸鹼敏感型星狀共聚物及其製造方法。本發明的溫度及酸鹼敏感型星狀共聚物,包括:作為星狀共聚物的中心之由環糊精衍生的構成單元(A)以及作為星狀共聚物的手臂且接枝於構成單元(A)之構成單元(B),其中構成單元(B)係由氮-異丙基丙烯醯胺單體衍生的構成單元(B1)與由3-羧基-3-丁烯醯胺衍生的構成單元(B2)所構成,星狀共聚物的手臂數目為18~21,亦即該星狀共聚物具有ABp的構造,其中構成單元(B)對構成單元(A)的莫耳比(p)為18~21,構成單元(B)中構成單元(B1)與構成單元(B2)的莫耳比(m/n)為1:0.05~1:0.4,而且該星狀共聚物具有一般式(I)的構造。
