The invention ivlates to UNA sequences of the re- combinant constructs inserted into Uie corn genome and of genomic sequences flanking flic insertion site that resulted in the 5307 event. The invention further relates to assays for detecting the presence of the DNA sequences of 5307. to com plants and com seeds comprising the genotype of and to methods for producing a com plant by crossing a com plant comprising the 5307 geno- type with itself or another com variety.
