A syringe with an injection needle includes an outer cylinder molded with a resin and a metallic injection needle. The outer cylinder includes a cylinder tip at a distal end, an opening at a proximal end, and a barrel section having a cavity located between the cylinder tip and the opening. The injection needle includes a joint portion fixed inside the cylinder tip by insert molding or heat welding. An uneven portion having an average surface roughness of at least 0.2 μm is formed in a region having an area of at least 1 mm2 on an outer peripheral surface of the joint portion. The joint portion is firmly fixed inside the cylinder tip by the resin which closely contacts and covers respective recesses and protrusions of the uneven portion. Sterilization by an autoclave or ethylene oxide gas is applied to the outer cylinder having the injection needle fixed inside.
