The present invention relates to a remains deposit container assembly for a charnel house in which remains are enshrined. The remains deposit container includes: a frame having horizontal and vertical frame bars assembled in a lattice shape to form deposit spaces in multiple layers a remains deposit container assembled to the deposit space of the frame and having an opening at a front to receive an enshrinement box a cover having a transparent window to see the inside of the remains deposit container, as well as covering the opening and a finishing plate assembled to the front surface of the cover. Corners of the finishing plate are supported by receptacle rods protruding forwardly from intersection portions of the frame bars to divide the deposit space of the frame. The receptacle rods are selectively assembled or disassembled, so that the finishing plate of various sizes connected to each other in a personal or couple type are selectively installed to deform the deposit space to a personal container or a couple container. Since the deposit space is easily deformed, the deposit space is not left alone for a long time, and the space is utilized as efficiently as possible.
