The agricultural equipment (22, 24) comprises a work vehicle (22) or an implement (24) to be carried or towed by a work vehicle (22). The user interface (204) displays information to, and receive inputs from a user for one or more data fields (710, 712, 714, 716, 718, 720, 722) in the equipment configuration code file (200) for the agricultural equipment (22, 24). The data fields (710, 712, 714, 716, 718, 720, 722) comprise a user-given name (710) and at least one of a compatible implement (722), an accessory (718), or a task (720) for which the agricultural equipment (22, 24) may be configured.
