The present invention discloses a diffuser assembly (20) for use in home, offices and vehicles which comprises a diffuser (24) having a plurality of elongate spines (26) being inter-coupled at a junction (28) and extending from the junction (28) with each of the plurality of elongate spines (26) terminating at a free end (30). The diffuser assembly (20) further comprises a container (32) defining a rim (34) at an opening (36) of the container (32). The diffuser (24) is for wicking scented oil (22) from a first portion (42) to a second portion (44) of the diffuser (24) for diffusing the wicked scented oil (22) from the second portion (44) of the diffuser (24).
