A medical waste container comprises a bag with a flexible body defining a cavity and having a fill opening. A tube has a closed end in the bag and an opposite open end projecting from the bag. An elastic ring attached to the bag around the fill opening presses against the tube. A lip projects from the tube adjacent its closed end. A tab also projects from the tube, and a discharge opening is formed in the tube between the lip and the tab. A flow path extends from the open end of the tube into the cavity when the elastic ring encircles the tube at a first position between the tab and the open end. The ring slips over the tab from the first position to a second position in which the ring covers the discharge opening as liquid passes through the flow path, adding weight to the bag.La présente invention concerne un récipient pour déchets médicaux qui comprend une poche dotée dun corps souple définissant une cavité et comportant une ouverture de remplissage. Un tube présente une extrémité fermée dans la poche et une extrémité opposée ouverte faisant saillie depuis la poche. Une bague élastique fixée à la poche autour de louverture de remplissage appuie contre le tube. Une lèvre fait saillie à partir du tube adjacente à son extrémité fermée. Une languette fait également saillie à partir du tube et une ouverture dévacuation est formée dans le tube entre la lèvre et la languette. Un trajet découlement sétend depuis lextrémité ouverte du tube dans la cavité lorsque la bague élastique encercle le tube au niveau dune première position entre la languette et lextrémité ouverte. La bague glisse sur la languette depuis la première position vers une seconde position, dans laquelle la bague recouvre louverture dévacuation lorsque le liquide passe par le trajet découlement, ajoutant du poids à la poche.
