PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing capable of preventing exposure of a screw member for fixing a cover member to appearance, and surely inhibiting failure due to corrosion to a screw member and peripheral components by avoiding affection of water immersion.SOLUTION: A spinning reel comprises: a main body 11 forming a reel body； a rear opening part 17 formed on a rear part of the main body 11； a cover member 15 attached to an edge of the rear opening part 17, and is attached by a screw member 30； and a bottomed cylindrical body front part 12 provided on a front side of the main body 11 and has a front opening.
